Cabin Policies:

Do you have family-friendly cabin rentals?

Yes! We do allow children in most of our cabins. However, some of our cabins do have an age limit, per the request of the individual home owner.

Do you allow pets?

We do allow dogs in a select few pet-friendly cabins in Blue Ridge, GA. Out of respect for our homeowners, Cabin Rentals of Georgia cannot permit a dog into a home that is not dog-friendly. All dogs must be pre-approved by management.

If approved in a pet-friendly home, we ask that you pick up after your dog on the grounds, not allow dogs on the furniture or on the beds, not allow them in the hot tub, and not leave them alone when you leave the cabin, but take them with you or put them in their crate.

We have a no-nonsense Pet Policy that we strictly adhere to in an effort to keep our luxury cabins in pristine shape, especially for the next guests who will come into that cabin.  Absolutely no cats permitted.

Just because a cabin is deemed Pet Friendly does not mean you can bring a pet for free. We only allow certain breeds, weight limits, and NO PUPPIES. Our homes are individually owned and our homeowners rely on us to be vigilant regarding pets in their home.

Do you charge for additional guests?

The stated rental rate on the website includes up to 4 guests.  If there are more than four guests, we charge $25/person/night + appropriate taxes and fees.  We do not rent our homes by the number it can sleep as this precludes smaller parties from enjoying the amenities a larger home provides. Please read the Rental Agreement when reserving a cabin regarding our policies on additional guests.

Are the cabins close to each other?

We do have several collections of cabins that are within close walking distance to each other, which makes for a great family reunion, corporate retreat, or church retreat.  But overall, our cabins are hand-picked for their views, amenities, and privacy.

Amenities and Services:

Is there WiFi at the cabins?

All of our cabins have WiFi.  Some cabins are in remote areas where service is not as strong, especially if there is cloud cover or rain. However, there may be times when service is interrupted or the modem/router needs to be reset.  If your cell phone has a personal hotspot, that will guarantee internet service should internet not be accessible otherwise.

What should we bring with us?

All cabins are fully furnished with paper products, kitchen soaps and detergent; just bring your personal items.  We provide starter packs of personal body wash, bar soap, and shampoo. During the summer months, consider bug spray, sunscreen, wasp spray, etc.

Do you provide firewood?

We have a delivery service that provides firewood for your arrival. When you make your reservation, you will have the option to include a quarter-face cord ($135 + tax) or half-face cord ($165 + tax). This can be added closer to your arrival as well.

Note: Please bring a starter log, like Duraflame, to get your fire started in wood-burning fireplaces. LIGHTER FLUID or any other LIQUID FIRE STARTER is strictly forbidden. If discovered upon check-out, there will be a forfeiture of the security deposit.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, there are linens and towels provided at each cabin.  All bedding is provided. Hot tub towels are not provided in all cabins.

Are there cleaning supplies?

Yes, we provide cleaning supplies under each kitchen sink or in the laundry room.  We also provide detergent for the washing machine.

Is a 4-wheel drive vehicle necessary?

None of our cabins require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access the cabin.  However, keep in mind that some of the roads are gravel, bumpy, and mountainous.  Be sure to read the cabin description for more detail, or contact our office staff during business hours for more information.

Will my cell phone work?

Yes! Please help us deter the bears, raccoons, etc. by properly bagging your trash and disposing of it in the bear-proof garbage cans. Please do not leave any trash outside for these animals.  In the summer months where flying/biting/stinging insects are a nuisance, we encourage bug repellent or spray. All of our cabins are professionally treated on a regular schedule for pests, but we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter some type of bug or insect on occasion in or around the cabin.

Why are there Ladybugs in my cabin?

Beginning in the fall ladybugs will find their way into the cabin to hibernate for the winter. These are harmless ladybugs and do not bite. On warm winter days, they come out of hiding because they think it's spring/summer. They are a nuisance, but there is absolutely nothing we can do to control them except vacuum them up.
