Some family and friends stayed at Creekside Green and it was amazing! The cabin itself was spacious and beautiful, but the outside, views, and overall area was incredible! We loved making fires, s'mores, exploring the creek and so much more! While the prices were high, it was so worth it for what you get. We woke up to a group of deer in the front of our cabin. It was so surreal. Definitely would rent again! Thank you!
Perfect For Our Couples Trip
In mid-August, the weather was beautiful: 65 degree evenings and up to high 80s in the afternoon. Our group of two couples enjoyed this property very much! On the first night we sat on the porch for dinner. Day 2 we shopped in Blue Ridge and had lunch at Chester's (great...
In mid-August, the weather was beautiful: 65 degree evenings and up to high 80s in the afternoon. Our group of two couples enjoyed this property very much! On the first night we sat on the porch for dinner. Day 2 we shopped in Blue Ridge and had lunch at Chester's (great food!) on Main St. Day 3 we went hiking to Sea Creek Falls in the rain. It was so wonderful! Then we drove to The Swinging Bridge, and at night we played Phase 10. We saw several deer families, wild turkeys, and colorful butterflies. Some of our highlights included cooking for one another, hiking, celebrating Jill's 60th birthday, all of the green scenery, the sound of the creek, and seeing the mountains again.
We were truly blessed with a full week at Fallen Timber. Way more cabin than two people need, but everyone should have the opportunity to live like royalty at least once in their lives! The cabin itself is beautiful and reflects the care and style of its hosts, Gary and Lissa....
We were truly blessed with a full week at Fallen Timber. Way more cabin than two people need, but everyone should have the opportunity to live like royalty at least once in their lives! The cabin itself is beautiful and reflects the care and style of its hosts, Gary and Lissa. The main floor is truly the heart of the the home. 90% of our time was spent in the living and the kitchen/dining area. The view cannot truly be put into words. From the river below, up through the trees, and into the skies above...well, you'll just have to put this journal down and go see for yourself. Walk the railroad tracks, float down the river, explore downtown Blue Ridge, spend a day at the lake, or just sit back and enjoy the view. Whatever you do, remember to count your blessings for the time you have while you are here.
